Our Story

Oh So Pretty is now proudly owned by Dawn Zapiec since 2012. In March 2016 we expanded our services and opened our second location in Hatboro. Dawn attended one of the best grooming schools in the industry Paragon located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Dawn has 20+ years of experience grooming all types of breeds and is very knowledgeable in standard breed patterns. Dawn is currently managing the team and continues to offer educational opportunities for the growth of the company. We focus on bringing the very newest grooming services to our clients. Dawn feels that it is very important that every team member is knowledgeable in safe grooming and handling skills, professional, and treats every pet in our care as a family!

“Oh So Pretty” was born out of a commitment to make grooming as pleasant as possible for both you and your beloved pet.

We incorporate safe and gentle handling practices with a true love of animals to create a welcoming environment for both dogs and cats.

Our groomers and bathers are experienced in all aspects of grooming both dogs and cats. With your help, we can make the most of your precious pet’s well-being so they may feel happy, loved, and healthy in every aspect of their grooming experience.

Oh So Pretty History

“Oh So Pretty” was founded by Tina Grello in 2003 in the Queen Village area of Philadelphia where we received “BEST of Philly” awards from City Paper. In the Spring of 2007, the second “Oh So Pretty” shop opened by Tina in Mt Airy with the added service of a modest collection of healthy, natural foods and supplies. Like our Philly location, our Mt Airy shop also enjoyed prestigious awards from City Paper as well as the Greater Philadelphia Tails (magazine /pet media group) and the Mt Airy Times/ Germantown Courier.

In the spring of 2010, our devoted clients followed us to our new, improved salon and expanded retail store located in the colorful shops of Keswick Village in Glenside, where we held the award for The Best in Glenside. In 2016 Dawn opened our second location in Hatboro PA.

Our team is always ready for any dog or cat regardless of their age, temperament, and personal needs. We at Oh So Pretty treat your pet as if they are our own!

In August 2021 we merged our two locations, Glenside and Hatboro. We are now in our new home in Jenkintown PA. Our new location is a large state-of-the-art pet spa that can accommodate all of our clientele. We are excited about this new chapter and the growth of our Oh So Pretty Pet Spa team!
